WHO WE ARE
GALLETA, Spanish for cookie, pronounced GA-YE-TA. In the midst of the pandemic, and out of a job, with a few ingredients and 60 dollars, Galleta was born. Galleta is inspired by all the women in my family, my family's past and present culture, including roots in the "956" (Rio Grande Valley area code), and the hardships we've all had to endure in hopes of finding opportunities for the future.

Our flavors are inspired by that of Mexico, the Rio Grande Valley, the Philippines, nuances of history, childhood, and nostalgia. We use high quality ingredients sourced as responsible as possible for you to enjoy.

This beautifully dreamy cookie is hits all the spots, its rich, chewy, gooey and a little tart. *cajeta is a traditional Mexican goatmilk caramel. Inspired by my grandpa who would give me spoons fulls of cajeta out of a jar when I was a child.
